2024 October | Melbourne, AustraliaNow, more than ever, young people need to discover and embrace ways to improve their overall well-being, and find hope and motivation for creating a secure and thriving future.
Where do we go after the ‘Z Generation’?
The RE-Generation – the RESILIENT and EMPOWERED generation who are taking on greater challenges than ALL the previous generations of humanity.
About RIYFF
The purpose of the RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival is to inspire and motivate our young generation with films from all over the world that focus on positive solutions for creating the world we all wish to live in. RIYFF showcases short films by both professional cinematographers and student filmmakers across 4 categories of ANIMATION, DOCUMENTARY, LIVE ACTION & MUSIC VIDEO.
Debuting with just 20 short films to a standing-room-only audience at the Melbourne Immigration Museum in August 2022, the 4th RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival has grown in leaps and bounds, and is now a part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2024, featuring over 100 uplifting short films from 22 countries around the world. This unique film fest provides a rare platform for the work of young creatives to be seen and appreciated alongside multi-award-winning cinematographers and animators from around the world, such as Louie Schwartzberg. The curation is carefully chosen to ensure a wonderful family experience that will send you home feeling great!
